MSc Corporate Challenge

16th December 2022

Are you trying to drive web traffic to your website? Looking for inspiration for your social media channels? Or trying to reach new online customer segments?

Surrey Business School is organising an MSc Corporate Challenge to help local businesses with their digital marketing activity.  In conjunction, we are seeking local business partners to support the project which runs from February to May 2023.

In the project, our talented MSc students work in teams to put theory into practice by working with business stakeholders.  They first review the business context and then execute a challenge agreed with the business stakeholder related to the following areas:

  • Target market
  • Customer journey mapping
  • Social media & channel management
  • SEO strategy
  • UX / UI website design

Companies who have participated in the past include a range of local SME’s and social enterprises such as Greyfriars Vineyard, Oakleaf Enterprise, Cressive DX, Giggling Squid Restaurant and Silent Pool Gin Distillery.  Below is some feedback from a past participant.

“They provided us with insight on different ways of implementing our strategy, gave us relevant market research which they used to develop a well-rounded digital strategy.”

Silent Pool Distillers Ltd, Melissa Thorn, Marketing Campaign Manager
