Local Business: Topgolf Surrey To Temporarily Shut For Improvement Works
19th February 2024
NEWLY UPGRADED EXPERIENCE COMING SOON TO TOPGOLF SURREY FOLLOWING A TEMPORARY CLOSURE FOR RENOVATIONS
- Topgolf UK has today announced that the Addlestone-based venue will be closed between 19th February – 15th March
- Provisional reopening date of 16th March set subject to any adverse weather delays
- Individuals and families are welcome to book fast passes in advance of the reopening
- Watford and Chigwell to remain open for bookings as usual.
The venue will be shutting its doors to the public between Monday 19th February up until Friday 15th March 2024.
During this time, the venue is set to undergo a number of improvements, including a full outfield turf resurfacing, changes to internal spaces such as ball dispensers, the stairwells and hygiene facilities.
The preliminary reopening date is scheduled for Saturday 16th March 2024, with Topgolf delighted to welcome all players back then. The opening date will be subject to any adverse weather conditions that could prolong the works. To stay up to date and for more information, please visit the Topgolf website.
In the interim, for those who just cannot wait for their regular fix of the gamified golfing experience, other local London legacy venues, Chigwell (Abridge Road, Chigwell, IG7 6BX) and Watford (Bushey Mill Lane, Watford, WD24 7AB) will remain open as usual.
Michael Angelides, Senior Director of International Marketing at Topgolf, comments: “We never take closing our venue lightly, but delivering the ultimate player experience is paramount. Both the outfield and several internal areas require refreshing and that will take a few weeks.
“Whilst we cannot guarantee our players score more points, we do look forward to welcoming you all back. Anticipate a new and improved Topgolf where everyone comes together through play.”
