Kelly’s Storage – 10 Years Of Fundraising

10 YEARS OF FUNDRAISING!

On Sunday 20th October Kelly’s Storage Charity Events will be holding their 10th annual fundraising run as well as a celebratory 10 mile Sunrise Walk. Kelly’s organise and pay for these events to raise money for Challengers, a local charity who provide play and leisure for disabled children and young people at a variety of schemes across Surrey & Hampshire.

The first Kelly’s Riverside Run in 2010 raised £30,000 for Challengers and since then the total they have received from these events will this year exceed £400,000.

However, the real and most meaningful impact has been for local disabled children and their families who depend on the lifeline service we are able to provide because of such significant support from Kelly’s.”

The Riverside Run transferred to the exclusive grounds of Loseley Park in 2015 to provide greater capacity and a more challenging route. The Kelly’s Cross Country offers runners half marathon, 10k and 5k distances. The routes cover tracks, trails, hills and fields, a challenging terrain that means all medals are well earned. There are breath-taking views and a chance to experience the exclusive grounds of this prestigious venue.

As well as being a challenge for serious runners this a real family event and includes a 5k walk for those who want a less demanding challenge as well as a 3k & 1k field lap for children and a variety of activities for them to enjoy. This, together with great food & drink at HQ, means there really is something for everyone. Kelly’s and Challengers would love anybody who has entered in previous years to come along and join us for this special occasion.

Finally, a very special challenge this year will take place on the same day, Sunday October 20th, an unforgettable 10 mile Sunrise Walk, starting at Loseley Park, heading out through the Surrey Hills to see the sun rise over iconic St Martha’s Church and returning to HQ to collect bespoke medals and to join in the fun.
