NEW PERKS LAUNCHED FOR SUPER NOVA MEMBERSHIP SCHEME
It’s a big month ahead for Nova Cinema as one-off highlights include a live screening of the King’s Coronation on Saturday 6 May (free to locals) and a live screening from Liverpool of the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final on Saturday 13 May 2023.
Locals can take up free tickets to enjoy a once in a lifetime historical event on Saturday 6 May, as the King’s Coronation is screened live on the big screen in the comfort of the award-winning cinema. Doors will open at 10:30am for the ceremony due at 11am, and tickets are free but booking is advised.
This year’s Eurovision Song Contest is expected to reach more that 160 million viewers across the world. For the first time ever, the Eurovision Song Contest Grand Final will be broadcast live to cinemas across the UK. Fans will be able to come together at Nova Cinema and share the experience of celebrating the biggest, brightest, and boldest musical party of the year. Nova cinema will host a huge Eurovision Song Contest party which will include entry to the live screening in their luxury screen. Guests will also be encouraged to enjoy access to the Nova Bar which will be themed with iconic Eurovision hits, flags, cocktails, and plenty of sparkles. Tickets are limited so pre-booking is strongly advised!
The existing membership scheme, Super Nova, launched in September 22, with perks including 5 free tickets, discounts on additional tickets, food and drinks, screen hire and free small popcorn on sign up. A new addition to the scheme enables customers to take advantage of weekday members’ pricing before 4.30pm, with cinema tickets as low as £7.50, even in Nova’s luxury Screen 7. The free membership scheme Nova Now also gives speedy check out, regular recommendations and a free popcorn on sign up.

The new Silver Nova scheme also offers screenings for the over 60s every Friday morning, including a hot drink and a biscuit. There are also specific screenings for children, as well as relaxed screenings which keep the lights on, the sound a little lower and skip the adverts!
Following a complete refurbishment in 2019, Nova Cinema now has seven stylish screens, including one luxury screen, a premium bar, gender neutral toilets and a versatile, private suite with kitchen facilities for community and business hire. The best in cinematic technology has been installed with state-of-the-art laser projection and top of the range sound throughout including Dolby ATMOS in Screen One for extra immersion. The cinema is situated at the top of the Peacocks Shopping Centre, a short walk from the multi-story car park. It is also walking distance from Woking train station.

Movie, Renfield, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan, Evil Dead Rise Polite Society, The Unlikely Pilgrimage Of Harold Fry, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, Corsage, Eos: Vermeer: The Greatest Exhibition, NT Live’s Good And Best of Enemies, Empire of Light, Eric Clapton : Across 24 Nights, Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance With Somebody, Eos: Tokyo Stories, Royal Ballet 2022/23 Season: The Sleeping Beauty, A Man Called Otto and The Queen’s Corgi.
