Changes in Tozer UK Sales Team Following the Retirement of Alec Roberts

Tozer welcomes Andrew Taylor to its UK business. He takes up the position of Account Manager following the retirement of Alec Roberts. Andrew brings a wealth of experience from his extensive career. His depth of knowledge stems from working in plant raising, the seed processing industry and most latterly selling commercial vegetable seed. He joins Tozer’s team of Account Managers in the UK and will specialise in celery and leaf (spinach, rocket, chard) seed sales.

Andrew will replace Alec Roberts who is retiring after 18 years with Tozer. Alec was a customer before he joined Tozer in 2005 and brought his skill and understanding of growing crops from both sides of the fence. His cheery outlook and no-nonsense approach have been appreciated by both his colleagues and customers.

Steven Winterbottom, MD at Tozer, paid tribute to his work and friendship. He said “Alec has been a joy to work with over the years. He has made a significant contribution to the reputation and knowledge base within Tozer.  We wish him well in his own projects and look forward to hearing about tales from his small holding, he will be much missed.’’
