Oakleaf – We Need Your Help!

1st April 2020

As you may know, Oakleaf draws people out of isolation and loneliness. But now, in these unprecedented times, every client is back into the confinement they worked so hard to break free from. We are working around the clock to ensure that our hundreds of clients can access support over the phone and via video, but with many funding streams vanishing our financial security is at risk.

We currently only have enough financial resources to guarantee our services for the next several months. This is why we have launched a Coronavirus Emergency Appeal.

We know that these are challenging times for all. However, if you are in a position to donate, please consider doing so. Every pound literally makes a difference – for example, £3 can pay for one hour of 1:1 counselling.

If you are able to share our Emergency Appeal with your network or on social media, we would also be incredibly grateful. To all those who already support Oakleaf, we can’t thank you enough.

Please take a minute to read our latest update from our CEO, Clive Stone on our website.

We are now offering regular online Wellbeing Classes via Zoom to anyone who is interested, including: Tai Chi, Mindfulness and Home Workout sessions. To register your interest, please email:

We have also introduced a series of top tips and resources for looking after your mental health and wellbeing during this period of self-isolation. We hope these pointers will help many of you in the weeks to come. Please download our Resource Guide here.
