#Do1Thing

16th January 2020

On 22nd January, the Surrey Advertiser and getsurrey.co.uk will be part of 35 regional websites and titles across the UK launching our #Do1Thing campaign to highlight companies who are taking climate change and green issues seriously.

Our Mission

Climate change is a critical issue facing us all.
The enormity of the situation can seem overwhelming at times but we strongly believe a collective effort of small steps can help to turn the tide. So for the first time ever, our country-wide network of trusted digital and print brands will be as one in encouraging our loyal audience to work together for the common good. Underpinned by the simple message #Do1Thing we will provide our readers with the local stories, expert advice and practical tips they need to be better informed and equipped to take positive action.
Together we can make a difference.

Online content written by our team starts from only £650. This will be housed https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/special-features/ (and never taken down) and will also run as editorial in the Surrey Advertiser published on 24th January.

We are open to all kinds of different content but below are some examples of what other regions have produced:

Not only will bespoke content within our newspapers be expertly written by our award winning journalists, our national and regional titles will be changing their mastheads to incorporate the #Do1Thing logo, highlighting the campaign and it’s importance at every opportunity. Our websites and social accounts will also feature on the day takeover visuals highlighting #Do1Thing and ensuring maximum awareness.

If you want your business to be part of this campaign at the launch please contact Kirk Ritchie on 07990 681 707 or email him at kirk.ritchie@reachplc.com.

Climate change is EVERYONE’S issue and we need your support to increase the great job so many businesses are doing across Surrey.
