Finch expands its footprint in the South with the purchase of Headley Group

Despite the turbulent market, insurance broker Finch has announced its purchase of independent; Headley Group, which includes Chambers member Robinson Buckley.  This marks Finch’s 12th acquisition as part of Ethos Broking and its first for 2021.

Headley Group was founded in 2003 (Robinson Buckley acquired in November 2016) and now operates from three offices across the South of England:  Alton, Godalming, and Bournemouth, which is also home to BM Property Services. It has become one of the largest brokers within the region with 4 directors and employing 30 members of staff, all of whom will stay with the business upon completion of the deal. The business handles over £13m GWP and is predominantly a commercial lines brokerage, also with high net worth private clients and a specialist Morgan car scheme.

Despite COVID-19 affecting many business plans, the Ethos Broking strategy remains unaffected with a strong pipeline of acquisition activity throughout 2021.
