Manufacturing Made Smarter

On Thursday 3rd October, Vision Engineering in Send will host Manufacturing Made Smarter, a free morning event designed for manufacturers and makers across the Southeast. Running from 9–11am, the session will showcase how new technologies can help businesses cut costs, reduce downtime, and unlock growth. Backed by the UK government, the Made Smarter programme offers manufacturers hands-on support to embrace digital transformation. Attendees will hear from expert technology consultants, explore funded opportunities for innovation, and learn how to access match funding of up to £20,000. The programme also provides a fully funded digital roadmap, leadership development training, and access to skilled student talent through funded placements. With practical insights and real examples, the event will show how small steps can deliver lasting results. Whether you’re a small or medium sized enterprise (SME) or an established manufacturer, this is your chance to discover the tools and support available to help your business thrive. Find out more
