Fun-Time Thursday kicks off five weeks of summertime fun in Guildford

Schools out for summer, and the fun starts here in Guildford. Kicking off on Thursday 28^th July, Experience Guildford will be hosting five weeks of free summertime fun every Thursday in the town centre, with a jam packed calendar of events for kids of all ages to enjoy.

The new ‘Fun-Time Thursday’ programme of events adds to the towns ‘Celebrate Guildford’ campaign, an initiative devised and delivered by Experience Guildford to promote all that Guildford has to offer over the summer months.

Events run between 10am and 4pm every Thursday from 28^th July to 25^th August.

• Enjoy the nostalgia of a traditional Punch & Judy Puppet Show on 28^th July and 18^th August at the bandstand in the Castle Grounds, with 4 shows scheduled for both days.
• Get creative with Indigo Moon at the urban parklet in Phoenix Court on 4^th August, and try your hand at making a beautiful flower moon or crystal bracelet at their Make & Take event.
• Hone your hula skills at the Circus School in Allen House Grounds on 11^th With various classes running throughout the day, from 11am to 4pm, come and master the diablos, low-wire walks, juggling, plate spinning, devil stick, fun wheels and much more.
• Become a dinosaur ranger at The Electric Theatre’s ‘Jurassic Day’ on 25^th August, and learn more about all your favourite dinosaurs and how to look after them. There’ll be appearances from Baby Dino, plus Raptor, and you can marvel at the size of their giant dinosaur egg.

Come and enjoy all the fun every Thursday in Guildford town centre, and keep the whole family entertained over the summer holidays.
