Dan has over 20 years’ experience advising owner-managed businesses, having previously been a Managing Partner at a top 15 firm. He works with start-ups, growing and mature businesses, helping owners and their families organise both personal and business affairs to achieve long-term goals. His expertise includes trusts, pre-sale tax planning, family investment companies, and property sector knowledge.
He also acts as a fractional FD or CFO for several clients, attending board meetings to advise on financial, tax, and strategic decisions. Since acquiring Fuller Spurling, his aim has been to build a specialist accountancy firm focused on long-term relationships with owner-managed businesses, acting as a key advisor across all aspects of their financial life.
Outside work, he is a keen golfer and Treasurer of Guildford Golf Club, working to strengthen the club’s finances and invest in facilities for members. He is also serving a second term as President of Surrey Chamber of Commerce, supporting the CEO and overseeing operations, strategy, and financial matters.
