Tanya Ghate

Tanya is currently undertaking a placement year as part of her Media and Communication degree at Loughborough University. She was drawn to the opportunity by the chance to develop practical experience in event management, social media content creation, and professional networking, all of which align with her ambition to build a career in marketing.

In her role, Tanya supports the Local Skills Improvement Plan (LSIP) team by managing social media channels, producing the organisation’s newsletter, and promoting events. Alongside her placement, she has developed strong customer service, communication, and teamwork skills through her experience in the retail sector.

Outside of work, Tanya enjoys playing the piano, staying active at the gym, and continuously developing both her personal and professional skills.
