Surrey Chambers is constantly representing the business voice in all sorts of settings. One which has been very successful is our feedback on the difficulties businesses have in recruiting or training sales and business development staff. Our feedback has resulted in action and the Department for Education (via the Strategic Development fund) is funding a small number of places on an excellent 8-hour course. Fantastic opportunity to develop the sales and business development skills in your business.
As a result of feedback from local businesses about the difficulty in getting people with sales and business development skills, the Department for Education (via Strategic Development fund) is funding a small number of places on an excellent 8-hour course. Delivered in a workshop style they are designed for SME owners who want to grow their business and profits using a proven sales method and they can book up to 2 members of their team on one of the courses.
Course 1 – Epsom – 17th and 24th November (17:00 to 21:00) with the review session scheduled for 30th November.
Course 2 – Farnborough – 22nd November and 13th December (17:00 to 21:00), review session tbc.
Course 3 – Guildford – 1st December and 8th December (17:00 to 21:00), review session 14th December.
Course 4 – Basingstoke – 10th January (09:00 to 17:00), review session 18th January.
Course 5 – Sparsholt, Winchester – 19th January (09:00 to 17:00), review session 25th January.
(An SME includes medium-sized businesses with fewer than 250 staff, small businesses with fewer than 50 staff, and micro businesses with fewer than 10 staff.)
Description
These eight-hour courses – delivered over one day, or two evenings – set out the knowledge and skills that are needed to increase sales and improve long-term business performance. After finishing the course, delegates will leave with a completed workbook containing a sales action plan. Skills learnt on the course can be put into practice straight away.
