Brooklands Hotel Achieves Gold Ecosmart Accreditation

Brooklands Hotel is on a journey to achieve rigorous environmental and sustainable practices across its business. The first step on this journey was to work with Greengage Solutions who independently identified and documented our current sustainable processes and measures. The awarding of Gold ECOSmart status reflects the extensive measures we take to fully embrace environmental sustainability. Our current sustainable practices include processes to conserve water and energy, minimise waste & maximise recycling in all areas of the hotel, sustainable food & beverage management in 1907 restaurant, bar & grill and our corporate & social responsibilities.

ECOSmart is the accreditation programme of Greengage Solutions, which recognises and supports eco-friendly hotels that meet certified standards of sustainability.

Brooklands Hotel has a ‘green’ committee that meets regularly to monitor processes in place and to discuss new ideas across the business. We are delighted to achieve gold ECOSmart accreditation as part of our journey to become a more sustainable business.”
