I have specialised in advising owner managed businesses (OMB’s) for over 20 years, having been a Managing Partner at a top 15 firm.

I work with startups, growing and mature businesses, advising on the issues key to their success. I also really enjoy working with the families that own the business, helping to organise and structure their personal and business affairs to ensure long term objectives are met.

Through the use of Trusts, pre sale tax planning, family investment companies to name a few key areas. I have a focused industry knowledge in Property (developers, investors, professionals & related trades).

I have a number of clients who also use my services as an fractional FD/CFO/ outsourced FD, which I really enjoy, attending regular board meetings to input on financial and tax matters together with strategy and investment decisions.

Since my purchase of Fuller Spurling, my aim is to create a laser focused OMB specialist accountancy firm, with long term client relationships being the key. Becoming their key advisor across their financial life, working with and co-ordinating other professionals. Through being an OMB, this also allows me to relate and really understand what clients need and require from their advisor, both in tax and advice, but also strategy assistance.

Outside of work I am a keen golfer, and now Treasurer of Guildford Golf Club, where I aim to put the club on a firm financial footing and allow the club to invest in facilities for benefit of the members. My golf game is steadily progressing!

I am also in my second term as President of Surrey Chamber of Commerce. Helping support the CEO in the running, operation and strategy of the Chamber, together with keeping an eye on the financials also.
