Guildford-on-Sea returns this August with new Sundown Sessions

Enjoy all the fun of the seaside this August as Guildford-on-Sea returns to the banks of the River Wey.

Located next to The Electric Theatre, Onslow Street, Guildford’s urban beach is free to enter and open daily from 10am to 6pm on 16 to 18 August 2018. Organised by Experience Guildford with support from the Electric Theatre and Guildford’s Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), it’s the ideal place to have fun with the kids after a busy day at the shops, with bucketfuls of sand, deck chairs, balloon giveaways, beach huts, free face painting and candyfloss.

Plus, this year sees the introduction of the first Guildford-on-Sea Sundown Sessions. Taking place on Thursday 16 August from 7pm to 10pm, the Sundown Sessions, open to over 18’s only, will feature a DJ, beach BBQ, ping pong tables, beach volleyball and a beachside bar selling a range of summertime drinks offers.

A slice of the seaside for everyone, both young and old to enjoy, making Guildford-on-Sea one of Surrey’s favourite summer hot spots!
