At Wine&Earth, our vision is to set a new standard as the most sustainable and ethical wine merchant in the UK, offering a portfolio of wines that are not only of the highest quality but also produced with an unwavering commitment to environmental and social responsibility. We believe that great wine should be crafted with profound respect for both people and the planet, and as a B-Corp accredited business, we strive to ensure that sustainability is woven into every aspect of our operations. Our mission goes beyond just selling wine, we aim to use our business as a force for good, championing practices that protect our environment and promote ethical trade.

Our B-Corp status is more than a badge; for us it demonstrates our commitment to sustainability – and the journey we’re on delivering a positive impact for our vineyards and our customers. We carefully curate wines from small-batch vineyards that prioritise ethical practices, use sustainable farming methods and low-intervention techniques. Every bottle we offer is a product of thoughtful stewardship. This means that every sip you take is not just good for you, but also better for the planet.

We assess our suppliers on their sustainability journey, rating them on a scale from 1 to 3 stars. Our assessments are based on both qualitative insights and quantitative measures, gathered through visits to each vineyard and comprehensive evaluations of their practices. From vineyards in earlier stages of their journey toward sustainability (Tier 1) to those pioneering holistic, regenerative approaches (Tier 3), we ensure that every producer we work with is making meaningful strides toward a more sustainable future.

We also believe in trading fairly. We support independent, artisanal vineyards by paying fair prices, enabling them to thrive while producing wines that are as ethical as they are exquisite. Together, we’re not just selling wine; we’re fostering a movement towards a more sustainable and conscientious wine industry.

During that time we’ve received support in the form of training and business community links, we’ve expanded our local network and we’ve had opportunities to promote our SME IT services to the wider Chamber membership by supporting and sponsoring events and providing keynote speakers to talk about IT and employer issues.
