Zara is undertaking her role as part of her industrial placement year within her English with Creative Writing course at Loughborough University. She was drawn to this placement for the opportunity to contribute to meaningful community initiatives and develop her professional skills in a creative environment. She has gained diverse experience from a range of positions including choreographer, hosting children’s birthday parties and culture and arts editor for her university’s magazine. She supports the LSIP through social media marketing, promoting events and assisting with the newsletter and is looking forward to exploring and learning through this new position. In her spare time Zara involves herself with a variety of creative passions such as dance, theatre and creative writing.
