One of Surrey County Council’s (SCC) key priority objective is to ‘Grow a sustainable economy so everyone can benefit’.  This objective is delivered through SCC’s Economy and Growth team who work with our partners Surrey Chamber, the Universities, the District and Boroughs to deliver a regional economic development service including inward investment via Invest in Surrey, an innovation programme (including the development of our priority clusters), a Surrey Skills Plan, a place economics town centre renewal programme and digital infrastructure rollout.  This programme will create the conditions for a thriving business ecosystem that attracts and retains high-quality businesses and drives economic growth and job creation across Surrey.
