The hard work and achievements of local businesses was celebrated at the Spelthorne Means Business Awards held at Shepperton Studios on 11 October.

During the evening, a raffle was held for the Mayor’s charities which raised £680 and a silent auction in aid of MidasPlus raised over £1,000.

 

Leader of Spelthorne Borough Council, Cllr Ian Harvey, said: “Since introducing our new Council strapline ‘Spelthorne Means Business’ we have been looking for a way to recognise the successes of our locally based businesses. By launching our first Spelthorne Means Business Awards we have been able to join together to celebrate their achievements and thank them for helping to make the Borough such a vibrant and productive place. Many congratulations to all the finalists and winners.”
