9th March 2021

Event date: 18th February 2021

Surrey Chambers of Commerce, in partnership with Sussex Chambers of Commerce and Coast to Capital are were delighted to host this virtual event: Post EU Transition – Understanding the new rules. We were joined by numerous specialists and experts within their fields who will each address key issues that are vital to maintaining and growing trade and ensuring you are compliant.

This catch-all event covered all aspects of the EU transition. Kicking off with a general overview and update then delivering back to back sessions covering all topics.

Since the end of the UK-EU Transition Period which ended on the 31st December 2020, businesses of all shapes and sizes have been wrestling with the new procedures, processes, trading regimes, customs and checks on goods moving between the UK and EU countries that have come into effect. Add on top of this the complexities that the UK Trade agreements, in particular the UK-EU Trade Agreement bring to businesses, it is not surprising that businesses are having an increasing amount of questions but very few clear answers or sources of information.

This event was spilt across four section which took place throughout the day with each section being hosted by specialists and experts. As well as an overview of the latest news on any new requirements, each presentation offered “Topic breakout rooms”.
