New events on sale at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

3rd August 2020

The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford is thrilled to be opening its doors once again with series of films and live events this summer and autumn.

On Saturday 8 August, enjoy a drink and an afternoon of live Jazz on the riverside terrace courtesy of Guildford Jazz and some of the UK’s best-loved jazz musicians. Featuring Alan Barnes on sax/clarinet, Nigel Price on guitar, and Marianne Windham on double bass, this is feel-good music at its very best.

Film screenings will be back on Friday 14, Saturday 15, Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August, and will feature some of the hottest releases of the year, a couple of old favourites and something for the whole family too!

Get ready to laugh and cry on Friday 13 November when the theatre welcomes one of the UK’s most successful broadcasters, Jeremy Vine, with his new show What the Hell is Going On?!.

The theatre has introduced plenty of measures in order to start to welcome you back, and ensure that staff and audiences are kept safe, including:

•             Reduced visitor numbers.

•             Clear signage and one-way systems.

•             Temperature checks upon arrival.

•             Face coverings required by all visitors whilst inside the building.

•             Hand sanitiser stations around the building.

•             Staff wearing protective equipment.

•             Regular and thorough cleaning.

•             Going cash-free.
