The businesses eligible for grants includes restaurants, pubs, clubs, hotels, recreation and entertainment venues, holiday accommodation providers and other hospitality, recreation and leisure providers.
These businesses will be able to apply for one-off grants of up to £6,000 per premises depending on the rateable value of their property:

- businesses with a rateable value between £15,000 and £51,000 can claim £4,000;
- businesses with a rateable value of £15,000 or below can claim £2,667.
In addition, further funding has been provided to local councils to support other businesses that have been affected by the Omicron variant. This will include businesses that supply the hospitality sector and businesses with personal care services.
Local authorities will have discretion to award these grants to the businesses in the most need. You will need to apply for these grants from your local council, and they should be available in the coming weeks. Get in touch with your usual contact at TC on 0330 088 7111 for further advise.
