Businesses invited to step up for Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon
Surrey Care Trust Patron, Roger Black MBE, is asking businesses to make miles of smiles for disadvantaged people in Surrey by entering a corporate team in the big Surrey 5 Peaks walk across the stunning Surrey Hills on Saturday 16 September.
Thanks to sponsors, Broanmain Plastics, Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon walkers can be assured that every penny raised goes towards the Trust’s mission to tackle disadvantage, social exclusion and hardship in local communities.

Our circular 26 mile hilly hike starts and ends in Headley Heath and takes in Brockham, Wotton and Westcott villages as well as Box Hill and Ranmore Common. There is also an option of walking 13 miles too.

Get your business involved and:
• Use it as a team building opportunity
• Make it a silly hike – dress up in fancy dress and boost your donations
• Raise your profile
• Make a real difference
Registration is £55 per person and the target sponsorship is £750 per team
Roger, a Surrey resident, says: “Poverty is a grim, growing reality in Surrey despite the county’s veneer of affluence. Up to 20% of children live in poverty in parts of the county, while in some neighbourhoods more than 40% of adults have no qualifications. These are problems on our doorstep and within our own local communities – problems that, with your support, can be solved so please step up for the Trust’s Surrey 5 Peaks Hikeathon.”
