FLIGHT CALIBRATION SERVICE LTD WINS QUEEN’S AWARD FOR ENTERPRISE 2017

The Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2017 has been awarded to Flight Calibration Service Ltd (FCSL) in recognition of its significant growth in exports over the last 3 years. Representatives of the company have been invited to attend a reception with Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace later this year.
FCSL’s international success has been built on the back of experience gained in the UK where the company is established as the main flight inspection service provider including, among others, contracts for London Heathrow, Gatwick and Stansted Airports.
FCSL is unique in that it has developed and manufactures its own Advanced Flight Inspection System (AFIS). This in-house expertise allows FCSL to offer a cost effective and flexible service fully tailored for each customer’s specific requirements.
International growth has been especially strong in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In Europe FCSL is providing services for every airport in Ireland, Portugal, Lithuania and Malta. In the Middle East, the company has service contracts in Oman, Bahrain, Jordan, the UAE (including Abu Dhabi & Dubai International Airports), Kuwait and Qatar. Recent contracts in Africa include Egypt, Libya, Morocco, Ghana, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
FCSL currently owns and operates six specially modified flight inspection aircraft with sufficient aircrew and equipment to operate the aircraft simultaneously. Two new aircraft are being added to the fleet this year and new pilots, flight inspectors and engineers are being trained in anticipation of the company’s continued expansion.
