In this event, Police Superintendent Andy Richardson will be speaking about how businesses can protect themselves from becoming victims of fraud and cyber attacks.

Andy has over 25 years of policing experience and has been the Senior Investigating Officer as well as the Head of Cyber and Economic Crime for Sussex and Surrey Police.

Now Andy is the Head of Cyber and Economic Crime at the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit and Thames Valley Police as well as the Director of the South East Cyber Resilience Centre; a Home Office funded Police led partnership helping to make local business more cyber resilient.

During the event Andy will talk about how businesses can understand the risks associated with cyber crime, recognize best practice and understand the measures to take in response to cyber crime.

Topics will include phishing, ransomware, passwords, what to do and where to go if you are unfortunate enough to become a victim and how the police-led South East Cyber Resilience Centre can help you.

Following the event a “one page” takeaway tips and links to further information will be provided as a reminder how to make your business safer.
