After All Your Hard Work: Getting Your Business Exit Right
Most business owners will only sell their company once. After years of building the business, creating value and taking risk, getting the exit right matters.
Surrey Chamber of Commerce is hosting an in-person business briefing by Chamber members Donald Stuart and Duncan Butler-Wheelhouse, looking at how to prepare your business and how to prepare yourself personally to achieve the best possible exit from your business.
Using two practical case studies, Donald and Duncan will look at what separates a good exit from a disappointing one. The first will examine an exit that went wrong: what was missed, where value was lost and how better preparation could have produced a very different outcome. The second will look at a well-prepared exit and the steps an owner can take to maximise business value, reduce risk and ensure that the proceeds of years of hard work translate into long-term personal financial security.
