Activate Learning

Activate Learning is a major education and training group supporting over 20,000 learners annually, with eight further education colleges across Surrey, Berkshire and Oxfordshire. Its three Surrey colleges – Guildford College, Farnham College and Merrist Wood College – combine local knowledge with the expertise and resources of a wider group to help businesses develop the skills they need to grow.

Working closely with employers, Activate Learning supports businesses to recruit new talent, upskill existing employees and plan for future workforce needs. Through Activate Apprenticeships and the Activate Business School, it offers apprenticeship programmes that build practical skills and recognised qualifications, alongside recruitment support and advice on available funding.

Its wider offer includes professional development, higher education and short courses, with flexible online learning options that help employees develop their expertise alongside work. From strengthening leadership and management to developing digital and technical skills, Activate Learning provides accessible training to support Surrey businesses and their people.
