Process filter manufacturer makes shortlist for international business award
8th October 2025

A Surrey manufacturer focused on market expansion in multiple sale territories worldwide has been shortlisted for a coveted business award.
Process filter maker Amazon Filters is a finalist in the category of International Business of the Year at the prestigious Surrey Business Awards 2025.
It comes as the Camberley-based supplier of filters, housings and solutions continues a global growth strategy across core customer industries.
They include municipal water, pharmaceuticals, energy and other sectors where robust and sustainable filtration processes are critical elements of production.
The 40-year-old firm’s award entry explained how its successful international distribution model coupled with direct supply from the UK is supporting customers throughout the world.
The strategy has led to export growth of more than 70% in the past five years, with international sales this year representing three-quarters of overall revenues.
Neil Pizzey, Amazon Filters Managing Director, said: “It’s both heartening and welcome to be an award finalist based on independent recognition of our approach and results.
“We continue to invest strategically in our future, completing infrastructure improvements and upgrading plant and machinery to increase our capacity and capability.
“These enhancements will position us well to scale our operations and resources even further in line with projected growth and emerging opportunities in our key target markets.
“As we look ahead, we will continue to support customers in markets around the world.”
International Business of the Year is one of 15 Surrey Business Award categories along with others including Customer Service, Innovation, Sustainability, Startups and Professional Services.
Neil added that Amazon Filters hopes to go ‘one better’ this year after being ‘highly commended’ as a finalist in the same category in 2024.
The Surrey Business Awards are run by Platinum Media Group in association with Surrey Chambers of Commerce.
“The standard of entries this year has been exceptional,” said organiser Maarten Hoffmann, Managing Director of Platinum Media Group. “We continue to be inspired by the innovation, resilience and ambition shown by businesses across the region. Being shortlisted is a significant achievement and we’re excited to celebrate the remarkable impact these businesses are making on the regional economy.”
The winners will be revealed at an awards ceremony at the G Live Centre in Guildford on Wednesday 12 November 2025.
