Threads Through the Cross – Textile Art by Jacqui Parkinson Comes to Guildford Cathedral

24 September – 3 November 2025

Guildford Cathedral is delighted to announce the arrival of Threads Through the Cross, a nationally acclaimed textile exhibition by celebrated artist Jacqui Parkinson. This powerful and visually striking collection will be on display from Thursday 24 September to Monday 3 November 2025, offering visitors an immersive journey through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.

Presented in a series of intricately stitched panels, Threads Through the Cross explores key moments from the birth of Jesus to Pentecost. Through rich textures, layered fabrics, and a wide range of embroidery techniques, Parkinson brings to life a deeply moving narrative that resonates with people of all backgrounds.
