New team member at MethodWorx

MethodWorx has just added another member to their team! Despite the global challenges brought about by the Covid19 pandemic, MethodWorx has continued to steadily grow.

It is crucial to be on top of your software requirements, ensuring that your company is adequately prepared to face this rapidly changing environment that we have found ourselves in. From remote working security through to having the correct technology to satisfy customers evolving needs, MethodWorx aims to assist companies to achieve their goals with their innovative software and digital transformation solutions.

To further enhance the customer experience, MethodWorx now welcome their latest member, Sarah Newton, as the project Manager. Make sure you read on to get the inside track on Sarah and why she decided to take the opportunity to work at MethodWorx.

o “I love to bake! I have been known to bring excess cakes to the office. I enjoy researching recipes and adding my own twists.”

o “I have a keen interest in theatre, and in the evening, I am a stage manager for a community theatre group.”

o “I am an avid gamer, both board and video! I stream on twitch, have a full-sized gaming table and it’s what I spend most of my spare time doing.”

o “I organise things for fun – Alphabetically, colour coding, chronologically…”

o “My hair has been every colour of the rainbow.”

Previous experience and/or studies:

“I was in my previous role 6 years working a digital marketing agency where I was the website projects lead. I managed client, inhouse and outsource relationships through website build projects and after care. Working with some amazing clients including Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Media, Virgin Holidays, Boots, John Lewis Partnership, Games Workshop and Reed Exhibitions. Prior to that I worked in a number of website manager and website coordination roles.”

“I have always worked in smaller businesses; I wear a lot of hats and enjoy getting my hands stuck in. I enjoy a challenge and am highly organised. I am hoping to have a huge impact on process, make changes which will benefit everyone, help things run more smoothly – which will in turn help us grow!”

Your favourite part of your job:

“Making it my own – Driving the team to have process and structure and implementing that from scratch.”

“Learning new things – whilst I have managed projects and websites, I am getting to learn more about software development cycles, new people, new clients.”
