M25 J10 : Upcoming Closures : Week Commencing Monday 29 July
29th July 2024
We are writing to let you know about our planned closures week commencing Monday 29 July.
Please consider these closures when planning your journey.
Our overnight closures usually start from 10pm and finish by 5.30am Monday to Thursday and from 11pm Friday to finish by 6am on Saturday. Please note that these can change depending on the volume of traffic and when we can close the road safely.
B2039 Ockham Road North
Our closures on the northbound B2039 Ockham Road North to carry utility works and alterations to the approach to the roundabout remain in place for a further week.
Daytime – from Monday 29 July until Saturday 3 August the northbound B2039 Ockham Road North will be closed over about 1.5km on its approach to the Ockham Park roundabout. During the day it will be possible to leave Ockham Park roundabout heading south towards Ockham and Horsley but not to travel in the opposite direction.
The diversion for this is via Ockham Road North to Forest Road and then left onto Old Lane, left onto the southbound A3 and leaving the A3 at the B2215 Ripley slip road to reach the Ockham Park roundabout.
Nighttime – between 10pm and 5.30am (weeknights only) from Monday 29 July until Saturday 3 August the northbound B2039 Ockham Road North will be closed in both directions over about 1.5km on its approach to the Ockham Park roundabout. The entire roundabout will also be closed during these times.
The diversions for this closure are:
For the A3 south bound, traffic will be to remain on the A3 to the Burpham junction and return via the A3 North Jacobs Well exiting the A3 North at the B2215 Ripley
For traffic from Ripley, will be via the B2215 Portsmouth Road to the A247 Clandon Road and the A3 South to Burpham and return via the A3 North Jacobs Well to the M25 J10.
For traffic exiting Mill Lane, will be to turn left only and travel to the M25 J10 and return via the A3 south joining the diversion for the A3 south slip road
M25 Junction 10 Westbound Carriageway Closure
From 9pm Saturday 3 August to 8am Sunday 4 August we will be closing the M25 westbound carriageway at J10 between the exit slip road and the entry slip to enable the team to carry out a concrete pour to the new bridge, we installed two weeks ago.
The diversion for this closure will involve traffic temporarily leaving the M25 at the J10 exit slip travelling around the gyratory before immediately rejoining the M25 via the J10 entry slip.
Roadworks on the A245 Continue
To ease the congestion around our works on the A245, the A3 northbound off slip at Painshill has been closed. This closure will remain in place until the end of November 2024 whilst we continue with our works in this area.
The closure of the A3 northbound off slip at Painshill helps to improve the eastbound traffic flow along the A245. To also ease the traffic flow in the area changes have been made to the sequencing of the traffic signals on all sides of the Painshill roundabout to favour the flow eastbound on the A245. We apologise for the inconvenience this is causing. Further information on this including answers to your many questions can be found here.
All our closures coincide with other ongoing improvements on the network including the installation of additional emergency areas on the M25 J23-27, M25 J5-7, M4 J10-12, M3 J2-4a and M20 J3-5. More information about these works can be found here.
We will do all we can to keep disruption to a minimum, but there may be delays at peak times, so we encourage you to plan your journey.
