Additional requirement for Legalisation of Arab Certificate of Origin for Iraq

We have been made aware that the Iraqi embassy have issued a notice, effective from the 16^th April 2018, that for all documents (Arab Certificates of Origin and Commercial Invoices) to be legalised by the Iraqi embassy for goods going to the private sector will now require a copy of the Import Licence, issued by the State Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services, and should contain the quantity and price, listed in the licence. This Licence is not required to be legalised.

This requirement is not required for EC Certificate of Origin applications destined for Iraq. Should you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us.
