The transformation of Brooklands College begins!

Brooklands College is celebrating this week as construction work starts to transform the College’s Weybridge campus. A £45m investment into the redevelopment of the College will create a purpose built, secure and attractive learning environment which will greatly enhance student facilities. The comprehensive work across the campus will ensure students of all abilities are able to access the very latest relevant facilities and training to secure their future.
As part of the wider redevelopment, Cala Homes has also started construction work on the Brooklands Grove development consisting of 320 new homes, 40% (128) of which will be available through affordable tenures. The site’s historic Grade II Listed Brooklands Mansion will also be regenerated to deliver 15 new apartments under the plans, restoring the historic mansion to its former residential use.

The first phase of the College redevelopment will see a new entrance and community-accessible facilities created, including a sports hall with 4 courts, a community hub, public access restaurant and café, and a new hair & beauty salon.
The construction work has been meticulously planned and phased over a two-and-half-year period to ensure minimum impact on the students’ experience at the College. Students starting this September will start to see some of the enhanced facilities and benefits this exciting programme of works will bring.
