New Lift Off Opportunities at Heathrow

The theme for Lift Off Q1 is ‘Health, Safety, and Wellbeing’.

At Heathrow, we prioritise the health, safety, and well-being of our colleagues, passengers, and neighbours above all else. This commitment serves as the foundation of our efficient operations, secure airport environment, and sustainable business practices.

To consistently enhance our approach to Health, Safety, and Well-Being and stay ahead of emerging developments, we are keen to explore innovative technologies and solutions in below areas:

Risk assessment and investigation: hazard management technologies and AI-backed health and safety investigation reporting solutions

Manual handling, fatigue, verbal and physical abuse: technologies that reduce risks of injury from manual handling and fatigue and solutions that prevent or dissolve verbal and physical abuse

Health and Safety in infrastructure: solutions that reduce health and safety risks or enhance effective and efficient communications in infrastructure projects Robotic and autonomous solutions

Innovative use of robotic and autonomous technologies that reduce manual handling and increase safety.
Staff well-being: DSE (display screen equipment) workstation assessment technologies, solutions that help us proactively support our staff in well-being challenges including mental health, fatigue, and more.
