Bringing systematic change for young people

31st March 2026

Leah Boxell, our Founder and CEO of Enablists, had a difficult start to life. Her story began with heartbreak. Loss. Instability. Abuse. Responsibility far beyond her years. By 16, she was financially independent.

Survival wasn’t a choice; it was necessary. But those early years taught her something powerful: resilience isn’t about avoiding hardship. It’s about using it as a foundation for strength.

Three years ago, she channelled that resilience into launching Enablists, which aimed to create structure from complexity, bring clarity to chaos, and help organisations navigate uncertainty with confidence. And now, she is applying that same mindset to what feels like the most important project of her life.

With this in mind, we are proud to introduce Move Different, a charity dedicated to driving systematic change for young people navigating complex and fragmented support systems.
· Too many young people don’t understand what’s happening to them.
· Too many families don’t know where to turn.
· Too many services operate in silos, without connection or accountability.

Move Different exists to change that. Our main outcomes are:
1. Helping young people understand what is happening to them.
2. Through trained Wayfinders, connecting them to the services they need.
3. Tracking services delivered to drive accountability and measurable impact.

We are currently in Phase One, proof of concept. With the right investment and backing from local businesses, communities and funders, Move Different can become the missing piece in fixing a broken system.

This isn’t just another initiative. For Leah, this is the ultimate project. If you believe young people deserve clearer pathways to services, not just better survival stories, let’s build something different together. Please reach out to Leah or email her team at reachout@move-different.org

You can support the children and young people in your community by ensuring you are on our service referral list or by funding improvements. You can also help by spreading the word, which supports our initiative.
