Accountants and Business Advisory Firm Moore (South) Announce Associate Partner Promotions

Moore (South) are delighted to announce that James McFiggins and Philip Hobgen have been promoted to Associate Partners, with effect from 1^st April 2026.

James is a corporate audit specialist who works closely with both national and multinational organisations, including those with complex group structures reporting under FRS and IFRS. He joined the firm in Chichester in August 2016 as an audit trainee and qualified as an ACCA member in March 2020, going on to achieve FCCA status in 2025. James’s technical expertise, commitment to excellence, and long-standing dedication to the firm have played a key role in strengthening the quality of the audit practice and supporting its continued growth.

Philip is based in Guildford and joined Moore (South) in January 2025, bringing with him 15 years of experience from a professional services firm in the City of London. A Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Advisor, he has extensive experience delivering audit, accountancy and advisory services to large corporate entities and groups, many with an international presence. His sector expertise includes pharmaceuticals, technology, logistics and energy. He is also highly experienced in overseeing audits of businesses reporting under both UK GAAP and IFRS, supporting clients with complex financial reporting requirements.
