A panel of legal experts at Charles Russell Speechlys will be focussing on some of the key property issues and trends affecting businesses as they navigate the many challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath.  They will review:

  • How businesses can limit property and other liabilities and avoid insolvency to safeguard their long term future;
  • What will happen when the suspension on forfeiture of leases and other legal remedies normally available to landlords which the government introduced to protect businesses through the economic turbulence of the pandemic end;
  • How negotiated lease concessions can provide protection, what types of concessions are usually negotiated and why it is important that such concessions are properly documented
