What are Skills Bootcamps?

Skills Bootcamps are a key part of the Government’s Lifetime Skills Guarantee, designed to help everyone gain lifelong skills. These free, flexible courses, lasting up to 16 weeks, offer a fast-track to new skills and career advancement.

Skills Bootcamps are tailored to equip you with in-demand skills that employers are actively seeking. Whether you’re looking to transition into a new industry or progress in your current career, these bootcamps provide an excellent opportunity.

Course Duration and Flexibility

Skills Bootcamps take up to 16 weeks to complete and are designed with flexibility in mind, allowing you to balance learning with family and other commitments.

Entry Requirements

To enrol in a Skills Bootcamp, you must be 19 or older. Most courses do not require prior knowledge of the subject, but you should have a good level of English and a strong desire to learn. Some courses may have additional entry requirements.
