Are you passionate about inspiring the next generation?

SATRO’s Business & Enterprise Challenges are fast-paced, high-energy events where teams of students run a manufacturing business for the day. Students take on roles such as CEO, Head of Marketing, and Accountant, students experience the real working world as they manufacture products, create marketing campaigns, manage finances, and handle unexpected challenges like stock market crashes or strikes. It’s a dynamic, sometimes stressful, and hugely rewarding day for both students and volunteers.

We are looking for volunteers from all areas of the working world to act as ‘business ambassadors’. By sharing your experiences and engaging with students, you’ll help them understand the skills and realities of working life. SATRO staff run the event and provide all necessary equipment.

Volunteering is a fantastic way to inspire young people, support the development of their teamwork and problem-solving skills, and give back to the community.

We need volunteers throughout the year in schools across Surrey The day is typically between 08:30 – 15:00, with lunch and refreshments provided by the school.
