SATRO’s Planet Utopia is an inspiring STEM event that challenges secondary students to imagine life on a new planet, designing sustainable communities, looking at new technologies and exploring what it takes to thrive in a new environment.

We’re looking for passionate volunteers from all sectors to support the workshops by sharing their industry knowledge and career journeys.
Your real-world experience brings the challenge to life, helping students connect their learning to future opportunities. By engaging with students and sharing your knowledge you help them think about the decisions they must make and promote critical thinking. Whatever field you work in, be it science, technology, construction, healthcare, the arts, your insight can spark curiosity and broaden horizons.

We need volunteers throughout the year in schools across Surrey The day is typically between 08:30 – 15:00, with lunch and refreshments will be provided by the school.
