Industry placements give young people studying towards a technical qualification, practical experience directly related to their course - helping them prepare them for the world of work

During the course, students will develop the core knowledge and skills needed for entry into a range of digital occupations by looking at data and digital systems; how software and business interact; the security, testing, planning and legal issues. There will be a mixture of classroom-based teaching and learning and 'on-the-job' work as this qualification requires a mandatory 315 hours (minimum) industry placement which will develop student's technical skills and allow them to apply their knowledge in a workplace environment.
