Industry placements give young people studying towards a technical qualification, practical experience directly related to their course - helping them prepare them for the world of work

This qualification requires a mandatory 315 hours (minimum) industry placement which will develop student's skills and allow them to apply their knowledge in a workplace environment, and includes an employer-set project (ESP) – a supervised project, devised and set by NCFE. The industry placement is used to assess competencies and would include observations.
