University of Surrey Secures funding to Boost Defence Skills

The Surrey LSIP team welcomes the news that the University of Surrey has secured £4.3 million to expand defence-relevant skills provision in engineering and computer science. This investment will support the development of the highly skilled workforce needed across Surrey’s advanced manufacturing, engineering, digital and defence sectors, directly aligning with Priority One of the Surrey LSIP Action Plan: increasing the pipeline of technical skills feeding into key manufacturing and engineering industries.
