Creative Careers Week 2024: 18 – 22 November 2024 

The Creative Industries are a key sector for the LSIP and, as part of this, we are always looking for ways to help raise the profile of this and other sectors – particularly to our younger residents. 

18 – 22 November 2024 will be Discover! Creative Careers Week – a government-backed, industry-led programme, that informs and inspires young people aged 11-18 about careers in the creative industries. 

We now invite businesses, schools, colleges, universities to get involved – perhaps delivering talks, workshops, online events, showcasing existing / future opportunities such as jobs or work experience… Plenty of opportunities! 

The Discover! Creative Careers team have shared an Industry Toolkit, which can be downloaded here. 

Do also check out the Discover Creative Careers Website (https://discovercreative.careers/) which has online activities, insight sessions, lesson plans, training for careers professionals and virtual activities. It also has 500 job profiles from across the industry and allows young people to search by their interests, skills and hobbies.
