Enterprise Advisers work with schools and colleges to provide an invaluable employer perspective, putting opportunities with local businesses and employers at the heart of a young person’s education.

Are you:
• An experienced business professional – from any background, sector and employment status?
• Willing to volunteer your time to achieve positive change in local schools and colleges, using core skills including relationship building, influencing and strategic planning?
• Passionate about raising aspirations of young people and making a lasting impact on the futures of young people?

Could you be an Enterprise Adviser?
Surrey Careers Hub is looking for experienced employees to volunteer as Enterprise Advisers. You could help to:
• Raise the quality of careers provision
• Develop the knowledge and skills of Careers Leaders and Education Leaders
• Promote a range of possible career paths including apprenticeships, technical pathways and vocational routes
• Focus interventions on those who need it most
• Develop and implement an effective careers strategy that puts opportunities with local employers at the heart of a young person’s education

All Enterprise Advisers are supported by a member of the Surrey Careers Hub team. Training and resources needed to undertake the role are also provided.
