Salary:  £10,720.39 – £16,681.40 (based on an FTE of £21,440.77 to £33,362.80 per annum depending on skills and experience)

Hours/Contract:  18.5 hours per week Part-Time

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: The post holder will be required to work flexibly across all campuses, according to department needs

We have an exciting opportunity for a Media Lecturer to join Brooklands College’s Media department. We are looking for a creative and inspirational teacher who can contribute to our positive learning environment.  We are a strong and successful department with growing numbers of learners and exciting plans for expansion.

The successful candidate will already have relevant professional qualifications. Along with practical industry experience or comprehensive knowledge of the media industry is desirable.

The successful candidate will be responsible for but not limited to teaching on a programme of appropriate courses and working with the Head of Learning and course teams in the development, review and evaluation of the curriculum.

This role offers the right candidate a real opportunity to grow and develop existing skills in a dynamic team. Previous experience of teaching in the subject area would be an advantage, however, support with teacher training is available for candidates looking to develop a career in teaching.
