Volunteer Coordinator (Part-time)
10 hours a week
Based at Headway Surrey, Guildford, a well-respected brain injury cognitive rehabilitation charity. We are looking to recruit someone with drive for this newly created role. We want to grow and increase our volunteers so that we can support the anticipated increase in demand for our services. We also want to look after our existing volunteers.
The various volunteer roles to be managed will include befrienders, workshop volunteers, office admin, trustees, marketing, PR, social media, website, fundraising, awareness and events.
Experience of recruiting and managing volunteers or staff is essential, a knowledge of working in a similar role within a brain injury, caring or other special needs/ disability organisation is an advantage.
As a small, friendly, dedicated and enthusiastic specialist team, with rapidly expanding client base, we need someone with experience to help us as our services evolve and expand. Pay £4,602 pa (£8.85 per hour)

Based at Headway Surrey, Guildford, a well-respected brain injury cognitive rehabilitation charity. We are looking to recruit a qualified Services Coordinator responsible to the CEO to manage three rehabilitation workers and up to 5 centre workshop volunteers. The main services provided are centre based cognitive workshops and some community outreach visits.
The ideal person will have an excellent background in clinical psychology, occupational therapy, speech & language therapy or brain injury.
It is important that the chosen candidate fits perfectly with our small team and provides the necessary clinical leadership, service delivery and best practice both in the centre and in the community. They must be self-motivated, driven and forward thinking to assist in the expansion and delivery of our future services in Surrey.
Experience of rehabilitation services, client assessments, developing and delivering services, output recording, impact monitoring, KPIs, targets and strong motivational rehabilitation team line management.
